Alison Johnson lives in Warwickshire and works from her studio based at Fargo Coventry. She has received major success completing various commissions with numerous clients including the Prince of Saudi Arabia and The Waldorf Hotel London. Johnson’s abstract landscape paintings reflect experiences, which explore the power of nature and layers of inter-connectivity, anatomy, mortality and the fragility of life. Her atmospheric oil paintings are decorative and surreal, feminine and sometimes sculptural. She layers paint, building gestural marks reminiscent of the Impressionists and Johnson has even been likened to the great masters of our time such as Turner. Such high acclaim has guaranteed her many exhibitions within the UK, Italy, America and Paris and the Middle East. Her work continues to reach clients on an international scale.
