C+Au (Carbon + Gold) is a collaborative project between artists Mark Beattie and Rod McIntosh. Their co-created series Alchemic Flow has a focus on their individual approach to capturing gesture and line making, and was first shown at Nobu Hotel Portman Square in summer 2023. After 10 years of mastering their craft, Beattie and McIntosh have a confidence in their individual line making, a maturity of combining physicality, flow and form. Although working in different mediums, there is a synergy between their work that comes through beautifully in the collaborative artworks on show at C+Au.
