Simon Freeborough is a London-based artist and printmaker. Born in New Zealand to his British parents and raised in Kent, he studied art, illustration and photography at Kent Insititue of Art & Design before becoming a leading Creative Director in London.
Simon’s art looks at the potentially disposable frills of society and transforms them into an everlasting homage and object of admiration.
Simon works with a variety of luxurious materials such as gold, diamond dust, and Farrow & Ball paint. Hand finishing much of his art, he 'paints' with traditional screen print techniques to add unique effects and textures that push the boundaries of the process.
