We are delighted to present Women in Art, a powerful exhibition shining a spotlight on the work of female artists, celebrating their achievements and successes.

Established by Emma Moir over a decade ago, and now a firm fixture on The King's Road, Box Galleries has been championing artwork by female artists since the gallery's inception. During this time, we have witnessed the rise of these incredible women as their work attracts admiration and collectors from across the globe.

Women in Art will feature pioneering artwork by homegrown established talent including Emma Gibbons who counts Margot Robbie amongst her collectors, Lauren Baker , whose monumental sculptural work has most recently been drawing crowds at this year's Burning Man Festival, and Debra Franses, whose one of a kind resin hand bags are being showcased at the gallery for the very first time.

Bold, vibrant typography works by Niki Hare will also be featured, as well as Elisa Cantarelli’s renowned dot-artwork.

These female artists and others will be exhibited alongside trailblazing heavyweights including Tracey Emin and Bridget Riley.

Lauren Baker and Emma Gibbons will be in attendance at the Champagne Private View on Thursday 9th November, and will be doing a short talk alongside Gallery Owner Emma Moir, to discuss their inspiration and processes for exciting new work to be revealed that night.
